At Google Cloud Next 2025, Google unveiled a suite of major innovations across its AI and infrastructure stack, focusing on scalability, performance, and enterprise-grade security. Among the highlights was the introduction of TPU v5e Ironwood, Google’s 7th-gen custom AI chip optimized for training and inference at scale.
Also announced were updates to its Gemini model family. Gemini 2.5 Pro is now publicly available for high-precision tasks, while a new lightweight model, Gemini Flash, is designed for ultra-fast interactions, powering chatbots and customer support.
