Microsoft Expands Copilot Vision to Windows and Mobile with Real-Time AI Assistance

Microsoft is expanding its Copilot Vision feature to Windows and mobile platforms, bringing AI-powered visual assistance beyond the web.

Previously limited to analyzing Edge webpages, Copilot Vision now processes real-time video from mobile cameras, enabling it to offer tips like plant care or home décor suggestions.

The updated Copilot app is available today for iOS and Android, while the Windows version—capable of guiding users through apps like Adobe Photoshop or analyzing photos and pages—is coming soon.

Unlike the automatic Recall feature on Copilot+ PCs, Copilot Vision works more like screen sharing, offering context-aware help.

The Windows version will launch next week for Windows Insiders, with a broader rollout afterward.

Microsoft is also adding:

  • Memory and personalization

  • Web-based actions

  • Podcast creation

  • Deep research tools
